Draw Chuck

Artist Comments-
Chuck is my favourite character from the angry birds game.
Chuck is constantly running at 100 mph, and that includes his mouth aswell. His impulsive nature and endless commentary gets him into trouble often. Luckily, he’s fast enough to get out of trouble quickly. Chuck has the ability to speed up when the screen is tapped. His game speed is much slower than his toons speed, as Chuck can move regular speed when time is slowed down almost completely. (see Chuck Time)Chuck can destroy wood very well, can shatter some glass, but cannot destroy stone. This is likely because Rovio made 3 charactersto only be able to easily destroy 1 material: Bomb (stone) Chuck (wood) Blues (Glass). In the movie, Chuck is using his speed up ability after being slingshot and it was much faster than both his game and toons counterpart and he hits the part of Leonard’scastle up until the stone wall but he got severely injured when he bumped so many obstacles such as reaching through the rings of fire as well as being hurt from a many cactus plants and throwing swords at him. He has also gotten hurt by attempting to go fastand accidentally lodging himself in a cannon held by Bomb.

step 1.

image

Step 1:Start drawing the Yellow Angry Bird by sketching a triangle. The triangle doesn’t have to be perfect; it will only be used as a guide for the Yellow Angry Bird’s head/body.

step 2.

image

Step 2:Next, draw two intersecting lines across the triangle. Draw one horizontal line near the bottom and one vertical line that begins at the top and slopes slightly to the right. These will be construction lines that willhelp you place the Yellow Angry Bird’s features later on.
step 3.

image

Step 3:Using the construction lines as guides, draw a diamond shape where they intersect. The shape will look kind of like a kite. This is aguide for the Yellow Angry Bird’s beak.
step 4.

image

Step 4:That’s it for the initial sketch of the Yellow Angry Bird! You have the basic Yellow Angry Bird shape, so now go in and tighten your drawing. From this point on, press harderwith your pencil when drawing in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.
step 5.

image

Step 5:Using the initial diamond guide, tighten the shape of the beak. Make the points of the diamond more round and the lines more curvy. Draw the top half of the beak so it curves over and overlaps the smaller bottom half.

step 6.

image

Step 6:Draw a semi-circle for the eye on the left side of the beak above the horizontal construction line. Do the same on the right side but hide part of it behind the Yellow Angry Bird’s beak.
step 7.

image

Step 7:Over each eye, draw a long narrow rectangle that slopes toward the beak a bit. These are the Yellow Angry Bird’s eyebrows. Inside the eyes, draw in two big dots for the eyes.

step 8.

image

Step 8:Tighten the shape of the Yellow AngryBird’s body by darkening it and making the points of the triangle more round and the connecting lines more curvy so it seems to be bulging out.
step 9.

image

Step 9:Draw some feathers on the top of theYellow Angry Bird’s head by drawing a series of curved triangles that look like spikes. Drawa total of four spikes with the middle ones being the biggest.
step 10.

image

Step 10:Draw a similar tuft of feathers for the Yellow Angry Bird’s tail on the left side of the body and above the horizontal construction line. Only draw three spikes this time.
step 11.

image

Step 11:That’s it! You now have a nice sketch of the Yellow Angry Bird. You can stop at thisquick drawing for a rough, sketchy look or go for a more finished look by continuing to the step below.

step 12.

image

Step 12:For a more finished, inked look, carefully go over the final sketch lines with apen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, and then get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser. You now have a finished inked drawingof a Yellow Angry Bird! You can stop here or go to the final step to complete your Angry Bird drawing.
Final (Step 13.)

image

Final Step:For a completely finished Yellow Angry Bird drawing, you have to color it. You can use markers, color pencils or even crayons! Color the eyebrows brown and the beak yellow-orange. The Yellow Angry Bird’s head and tail feathers are black. Color the face/body yellow except for a small semi-circle at the bottom. That’s it! You now have a completed drawing of the Yellow Angry bird.
